Agent abilities sync with Linear, both ways
Push an ability to Linear from SuperOrgs, choose the team, project, and assignee, and the status follows in both directions. Done in Linear is Live in SuperOrgs.
Your engineers plan in Linear. Your agents' work lives in SuperOrgs: each ability an agent owns, who is building it, and where it stands. Until this week those two boards did not talk, so someone copied status across by hand, or nobody did and the boards drifted.
Now an ability can be pushed to Linear, and its status syncs both ways.
What shipped
Push an ability to Linear. Open an ability, from its page, its fullscreen view, or the Ability Library, and choose Push & sync. Pick the team, and if you like the project and the assignee. SuperOrgs creates the issue with the ability's description as the body, a line saying who pushed it, and a link back to the ability. The issue then shows wherever the ability does: the detail sheet, the agent page, the kanban card, the library, the planning panel, and the org chart panel.
One issue per ability. Pushing again updates the same issue and never creates a second one. Leave the project or assignee unchanged and whatever is set in Linear stays. Clear one on purpose and it clears.
Status syncs both ways. Mark the issue Done in Linear and the ability reads Live in SuperOrgs. In Progress in Linear reads In Progress. Backlog, Todo, or Triage read Backlog. Move the ability on the board in SuperOrgs and the issue moves too. When both sides change, the later change wins, on Linear's clock. A canceled or duplicate issue leaves the ability where it is. And, as the dialog says, anyone who can edit the issue in Linear can change the ability's status.
Connect once per workspace. Connect Linear from the push dialog or from the Detected sources under Discovery. Connections made before this release could only read, so the first push asks for a reconnect that grants write access. Unlinking an ability never touches its issue in Linear.
What it does not do yet
Title and description edits made in Linear do not flow back, comments stay in Linear, and a new ability is not pushed until someone pushes it. Linear is the first tracker; others show as coming soon in the same menu.
Turning it on
- As an admin, connect Linear from the push dialog or from the Detected sources under Discovery, and give the SuperOrgs app access to at least one team in Linear.
- Open an ability and choose Push & sync. Pick the team, the project, and the assignee.
- Work the issue in Linear as usual. The ability follows.
