Most companies did the same thing with AI agents that they did with SaaS a decade ago: everyone grabbed one, nobody wrote down who owns it, and now the org runs software nobody manages. Gartner has a name for where that ends: agent sprawl. By 2028 they expect an average Fortune 500 company to run over 150,000 agents, up from less than 15 in 2025.

What is an agentic pod?
An agentic pod is a small, permanent team of people and AI agents that owns one part of a business. It pairs a domain expert who knows the work with a builder who can ship agents, under a named sponsor who is accountable for the result.
We did not invent the idea, and that is the point. Uber's CTO described running sixteen pods across sixteen business functions this July: roughly thirty AI-proficient engineers, each paired with a domain expert, shipping working agents in ten days. Financial reports that took two days now take ten minutes. HubSpot adopted the model for go-to-market within a week of Uber's post. What shipped
Pods with a live scoreboard. Every pod shows its people (with the sponsor ringed), its agents (as members with faces and owners, not tools), what it spends this month, and what it saves. All of it metered from real runs, none of it hand-maintained.
Capacity you can read in dates. Each pod computes how much it can build from the people actually on it. Cards say "2 of 4 build slots used, next opens Aug 11", and queued agents get a projected start date instead of a place in a backlog.
Stalls that ship with their fix. A pod with a backlog and no builder is a queue. When that happens, SuperOrgs says so in plain words and offers two doors: add a builder from your own org, or hire one through AI Services, from kickoff call to signed agreement without leaving the page.
Two charts, one org. The reporting chart shows who reports to whom, people and agents together. The work chart shows which pods actually do the work. Same live data, one toggle.
