# AI agent ROI, down to the dollar

ROI is on in every SuperOrgs workspace. It puts what your agents cost next to what people would cost for the same work, and counts only confirmed agents.

What do your AI agents cost, and what would the same work cost if people did it? The ROI page in SuperOrgs now answers that in every workspace. It opens on three figures for the dates you pick: **Money saved**, **Hours saved**, and **Hours helped**.

Each figure splits into Confirmed and Estimated. Estimates are marked as estimates and never added to the confirmed total, and every agent opens to show how we worked out its number.

## What shipped

**Overview.** The three figures, a short To do list for anything left to set up, your agents' runs over time with the week each one went live, how many runs were right first time, and a bar to ask Orion.

**How Saved is worked out.** We take an agent's finished runs times the minutes a person needs for each task, and price those hours at the cost of that person's role. That is what people would cost. Subtract what the agent cost and people's time fixing its failed runs, and the rest is Saved. On the Value tab, open any agent to see every line. When agents cost more than people would, the figure turns red and says so.

**The full cost of a person.** Each role's cost has seven parts: pay, benefits, hiring, ramp-up, manager time, tools and seats, and turnover. We start from benefits at 1.3 times pay, hiring at 20% of salary, people staying 24 months, one manager for every 7 people, and 15% leaving each year. Change any of these in Cost assumptions and the page updates, past dates included. Salaries come from a market salary lookup or are typed in.

**Only confirmed agents count.** An agent counts once it has run for 14 days, has 50 runs right first time, gets at least 80% of its runs right first time, and someone has confirmed how long its tasks take a person. Until then it shows how far along it is, such as "Running 9 of 14 days". When only time stands in the way, you can count it by hand. Its cost always shows: Where your agent cost goes lists every dollar your agents cost and matches the total on the Costs page.

**Check our guesses.** Setup is one sheet, a card per agent, with our guesses filled in: how the agent works, its role and salary, and the minutes a person would take for each task. Press Looks right on a card, or Confirm all. Undo takes a save back. The figures update in about 2 minutes.

**Agents that help people.** An agent that works beside a person counts in hours, not dollars. To see whether a department gets more done, add its main number, such as tickets resolved a month, for the months before and after the agent started. Results by department shows the change and calls it an early sign, not proof.

**Deals, from HubSpot.** Connect HubSpot on the Deals tab to see Won deals touched, Open pipeline touched, and Companies touched, plus the renewals closing in the next 90 days and which ones no agent has touched. Open a won deal to read every touch, by agents and people, and download it as a PDF or an image. Touched means an agent reached a contact on the deal, not that the agent caused the win, and the page says so. Disconnect HubSpot and everything we read from it is deleted.

**Reports, every month.** On the Reports tab, set up an Executive summary or a Department report. It goes out each month by email or to a Slack channel, with a PDF. A sent report is frozen: later changes to the figures never rewrite it. People outside your company can get it too once your workspace allows outside addresses. They get the PDF and no link to the app.

**Costs and Activity.** On Costs, spend that is not linked to an agent and spend shared across agents now have their own lines, and Sort out lets you assign it, split it, or mark it as shared. On Activity, a run that saved time shows how much, and you can show only those runs.

## What it does not do yet

- Deals reads HubSpot only, one CRM per workspace.
- Reports go out once a month. There is no weekly or quarterly schedule.
- Department numbers are typed in by your team, except Sales new revenue, which HubSpot can fill in.

## Turning it on

ROI is already on in your workspace.

1. Open [ROI](https://app.superorgs.com/roi) in SuperOrgs and choose Check our guesses. Confirm each agent's role and minutes.
2. To see the revenue your agents touched, open the Deals tab and connect HubSpot.
3. On the Reports tab, choose New report and pick who gets it each month.

The new ROI page reached every workspace in SuperOrgs v1.44.1 on October 19, 2026, and Deals followed in v1.44.4 on October 21. If you do not use SuperOrgs yet, [get a demo](/demo).
